Access various Bible versions powered by API.Bible integration:Select a Translation
Click on the Bible translation dropdown at the top of the reading interface. A searchable list of available translations will appear.
Search or Browse
Type to search for a specific translation (e.g., “KJV”, “NIV”, “ESV”) or scroll through the available options.
Your selected translation is preserved in the URL, making it easy to bookmark or share specific passages in your preferred version.
Chapter Navigation
Navigate through the Bible with intuitive controls:Using Navigation Arrows
The chapter navigation provides left and right arrow buttons:- Left Arrow: Navigate to the previous chapter
- Right Arrow: Navigate to the next chapter
Book and Chapter Selection
Beyond arrow navigation, you can:- Jump to any book using the book selector
- Select a specific chapter from the chapter list
- Use URL parameters to link directly to any passage
Chapter navigation respects the structure of your selected Bible translation, as different versions may organize books and chapters differently.
Verse Highlighting
Highlight specific verses for focused study:Automatic Highlighting
When you:- Click a verse reference from search results
- Navigate from a collection
- Use a URL with a verse parameter (e.g.,
?verse=JHN.3.16)
- Scroll to the verse
- Highlight it for easy identification
- Keep it in focus on the screen
Linking to Verses
Share or bookmark specific verses by using verse references in your URL. The format follows the pattern:Example
